COLDMIX ASPHALT

The cold asphalt can be stored in bulk and has a minimum 6 month shelf life whilst remaining workable even in cold weather conditions.

8. Tested and approved by the Department of transport

The material is supplied in a 6,7 and 9,5 mm wearing course used for sealing all road repairs and also a minus 26 mm base pre-fill (base course) used as a long lasting, durable, cost effective filler for deep repairs.

Our bituminous products are semi-solid hydrocarbon product produced by removing the lighter fractions (such as liquid petroleum gas, petrol and diesel) from heavy crude oil during the refining process. As such, it is correctly known as refined bitumen. Bitumen is commonly known as “asphalt cement” or “asphalt”.
We specialise in Road grade bitumens, homogeneous polymer modified binders, and cutback bitumens. Bitumen emulsions such as anionic and cationic modified bitumen emulsions and various primes.

ECOTEC TRAILER

Specially designed as a rapid response solution for fixing potholes and making road repairs. The Hot Oven unit is geared to address all road maintenance challenges pertaining to patch work and pothole repairs. Maintaining hot mix throughout the day has its challenges, one common theme being to travel long distances with hot mix which could affect the inherent properties of the product as it cools down leading to – Ecotec Hot Oven Trailer
