Eco Asphalt (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned company. Eco Asphalt has, in conjunction with Much Asphalt, designed various types of cold and warm asphalts used specifically in the road patching industry. We trade and supply these different asphalts to both the private and government sectors in South Africa, as well as exporting to Australia. Eco Asphalt has vast experience with both National and Provincial contracts. We currently supply Cold Asphalt to 14 Municipalities and government associations
Eco Asphalt is led by Trevor Spence (CEO) who has 10 years experience in the road building industry. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Witwatersrand. He has more than 8 years experience in the Asphalt industry holding various certificates issued by the Asphalt Academy. He is a past Commercial Director for Spray Pave (Pty) Ltd, part of the Basil Read Group of Companies.
All Eco Asphalts products are manufactured through Much Asphalt plants with ISO 9000 grading or higher. We have helped Prophalt SA (Pty) Ltd achieve their Agrèment Certification through the correct quality management procedures in place at all utilized plants.
We partner with MUCH Asphalt and have designed various types of cold and hot asphalt applications for use in road repair.
Trevor is planning to develop EcoAsphalt and Prophalt into the largest service and product supplier in the road repairs and maintenance industry in Southern Africa
We are the main suppliers of our Promix Asphalt to Prophalt – the pothole and road repair company; the largest road repair group in southern Africa.
